Finally Home!

We were very anxious to get home. We had to spend a little longer in the hospital because I had a C-section. I thought Ryan was going to loose his mind. The first night home brought back the memories of sleep deprivation. Jude had his nights and days confused. He seemed to quickly catch on. He has been doing very well ever since that first night. He lets me go usually 4 hour stretches. I am very grateful!! Landon is doing well with the adjustment. It's been very hard for me because I can't lift him for 4 weeks! I miss picking him up and holding him! He seems very interested in Jude, and wants him to start playing with him right now. It's pretty cute! It's funny to think that they are going to be friends forever, and Ryan and I get the privilege of watching this lifelong friendship start. I am very excited to watch these 2 boys grow up together!

More Jude!

Hey Jude!

It's a BOY!!!

We were a little antsy the day of the C-section. It's so strange knowing your life is going to change completely in a matter of hours. I remember telling Ryan...we are going to have another little one in a few hours. With the second baby, it's such a different feeling. You know all the feelings you will have for that little one immediately. The first one...you just don't understand all the emotions you will go through. I was lying in the operating room, scared to death. They don't let your husband come in until right before the procedure. The anesthesiologist was giving me a lesson on anesthesia because he found our I was a PA. It actually was good, because it took my mind off what he was doing.
After my body went completely numb. Everything happened quickly. Dr. Kemp, her assistant, and Ryan came in and everything started happening quickly. It seemed like a matter of minutes and she was saying, "Oh, He pooped!" "It's a little boy. Congratulations you guys." Tears came instantly. I couldn't believe that I had another little boy. I had been pretty certain through most of the pregnancy that he was a boy, but it seemed so unreal.
Ever since, little Jude Davidson has been a joy. He is very content. The only bad thing is he wants to eat every 2 hours...which can become very exhausting. He weighed 8lbs 7oz, and was 20 inches long. When we went into the Dr. Stoll's office for a check up he was already 8lbs 14 oz!! He's an eater! We are so blessed and thank God every day for our growing family.

Baby #2 Updates

So this is a very late entry, but I found out baby #2 was breech about 4-5 weeks ago. I was so upset about it, because I heard the word C-section. I went to a chiropractor for awhile to try to flip the baby. That wasn't working. I decided to undergo the procedure the doctors perform to try to mechanically flip the baby. I was bummed because that also failed. I finally decided to pray about it, and except the C-section. We scheduled it for March 1st, and so here is the rest of the story of baby #2!!!

More Fun in the Snow!

Fun in the Snow!

We have the great privilege of having an aunt and uncle that have a great sledding hill. They also have 4 wheelers which Landon loves. We made it over there one day with Katie, Jon, Papa Bruce, and Hallie. It was very fun. The kids were a little intimidated by the hill, but they loved getting outside after being cooped up all winter. Landon's favorite thing was the 4 wheelers. It is so funny how he loves motorized things!

Big Boy Landon

Since Landon turned 2, we have been trying to get him into the "BIG BOY" mode. We have been talking about pottying on the potty and we moved him to a big boy bed. We were doing all of this to prepare for the new baby. He adjusted to his big boy bed very well. We haven't had problems with this. Pottying on the potty has been very challenging. He will have days he is very into sitting on the potty, and other days where he refuses to sit on it. He constantly amazes us with his knowledge! We are looking forward to the day where he is going potty on the potty all the time!

A Night of Boredom?

I was a little concerned one night, as I found Landon wearing my mom's high heels. I know little girls like to dress up, but wasn't too sure about little boys! It was pretty funny. I never wear heels, so I don't think he had ever attempted this. He was actually pretty good at walking in them! Oh the life of a 2 year old!

Helping Daddy!

So we had a few big snow storms this year. Nothing like last year. It was very fun to see Landon's reaction to the snow. He was a little too small to get it last year. It seems that he is going to be quite the helper, and will be definitely helping if any kind of motor is involved. Here are a few pics of him helping Ryan clean off the drive way! His hands were freezing, because he kept taking his gloves off! I couldn't get him into the house! Too funny!
