Landon's 1 year appointment!

We went to Landon's 1 year well child appointment today. He is now 20 lbs, 13 oz (25%). He's a peanut! He was 50% in length and 75% in head circumference. I was laughing because I don't think I realized that his head is the biggest thing he has! Unfortunately, Dr. Stoll informed us that he has his first ear infection...both sides! So sad! He's been a trooper though...still sleeping all night without a fuss! You are such a good boy Landon!

Reflecting on the last year...

The last two years have been filled with changes...emotionally and physically!

You were born November 23, 2008 at 1:16 AM!! We were so excited! We couldn't believe we could love someone so much so quickly! Your little cry warmed my heart! I will never forget those first few moments with you!

Christmas time brought lots of fun! You were giving mommy a little more sleep at night by Christmas! Uncle Brian dressed up as Santa...all of your cousins loved it...you just slept through it all!

2 Months...
You didn't like bath time at this age, so mommy and daddy always rushed through it! We loved and still love wrapping you up in your hand made (by Grandma Jeannie) hooded towel! You always looked very bright eyed after bath time!

3 months...

You were sleeping through the night for a couple weeks at this age! That was a huge blessing for mommy! You smiled all the time at this age. You were a very happy boy!

4 months...

We made a trip to Minnesota to visit Grandma & Grandpa Kirkpatrick. Their church had a special shower for you! It was adorable. The speaker talked about what our hearts pray for in regards to our children. She said, "We pray that they will love Jesus with all of their heart, soul and mind." That is what I pray for you daily! I love you!

5 Months...

6 Months...

We went to Colorado for a wedding when you had just turned 6 months old. Congrats to Cousins Kendra & Derek!

8 months...

91/2 months...

We went to your first state fair with Mimi, Papa, and the rest of the gang! You tried some fried food for the first time... you weren't to sure about it!

The last year you have brought us more joy then words can tell! We are so excited to watch you grow into the man God will have you to be! Love you Landon!

Landon's Airplane Birthday Party!!

We LOVED that Grandpa & Grandma Kirkpatrick were able to make it to the Birthday Extravaganza! You are so blessed to have so much family to love on you!

Landon had a great time at his birthday party! He loved having all eyes on him! Great Grandpa Wayne designed the airplane high chair. The chocolate airplane cake managed to get all over everything! It was a very fun but sad day as our little boy moved from the baby stage to a toddler! The year has flown by and we have felt so blessed to be parents!

We just celebrated Landon's first Birthday, and I decided it was time to start blogging!! It has been a fabulous year. He is learning so much so quickly and turning into a wild toddler. He is so curious about the world around him... sometimes a bit too curious. We are so lucky to have been blessed with such a great little boy. We can't wait to see what this next year will hold for him!
