Baby # 2 Updates!

I haven't been doing very well at keeping up with the baby updates. I have had 2 more appointments. I am measuring about 1 week behind, and heart rate has been in the 130s. At the last appointment, the doctor said, "Sounds like a boy heart beat." It's funny to see who believes in that. You won't convince my dad of anything other than that wives tale. It's been interesting to see how much more active this baby is than Landon. This baby moves so much it makes me quite uncomfortable at times. It is making me a little nervous imagining have 2 little ones. I can't believe in about 5 weeks I will be holding this little one in my arms. God's design is so amazing, and I can't express how grateful I am at all he provides!

Sledding with The Kirkpatrick Clan!

We went to Uncle Kelly & Aunt Teri's the day after Christmas for a little sledding fun! It was fun to take Landon for the first time. He had no expression as you can see, but was loving the "lawn mower" translated snowmobile. It's funny how boys become quickly obsessed with loud machines!

Christmas @ MiMi & Papa's house

Christmas 2010 MiMi & Papa's house

We spent Christmas night with my family. It was fun watching Landon and Hallie get very into opening their presents. It's funny how quickly they learn. We ate a fabulous meal, played games, and spent some quality time together. We are so thankful for our family!

Christmas

Christmas this year was a blast! We were able to spend 4 whole days with Ryan's family, and it was so nice to have some time to relax. They all stayed in our house in which we were thankful to be living in! Landon was so much fun! He kept saying, "Open it, Mommy?" He really has the concepts of presents down. He did want to stop between each gift and play with the one he had just opened. It was fun to watch his little face as he opened his toys!

Baby #2 Updates

31 week belly

A lot has been happening over the last few weeks with this little one. Growing is happening in full force!! It was very fun because on Christmas Eve I felt this baby hiccup. Landon never had the hiccups, so I had never experienced that. It was very fun! I had an appointment on December 27th and heart rate was in the 130s. He/She has been moving like crazy, and I am measuring on schedule. It's been a little different having so many Braxton Hicks contractions with this baby. I've been wondering how people run through their whole pregnancies. I run from the car into work and I have about 2-3 contractions! I am getting very excited, yet nervous, to meet this little one. I feel very blessed to be having a second child! Stay tuned things can only get more interesting with this little guy/gal!
